BEARING is a research journal and study in civil engineering that presents research results in the fields of building and structural engineering, transportation, water resources engineering and management, geotechnical engineering, infrastructure management, and environmental engineering.
BEARING was first published in 2014 in the printed version. Since 2018, BEARING has been published both in the printed (P-ISSN: 2085-6261) and online version (E-ISSN: 2623-1409). This journal is managed and published by the Department of Civil Engineering, Engineering Faculty of Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. The journal is published twice a year in June and December.
BEARING has been accredited by National Journal Accreditation Managed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia / Directorate General of Higher Education, Research, and Technology which has been indexed in SINTA 5 since Volume 8 Number 1 of 2023 to Volume 12 Number 2 of 2027.
