Abstract


Production of waste oil products, the oil cake can be fermented using animal wastewater consumption maggot produce optimal growth. The purpose of this study is to examine the high content of protein maggot (Hermetia illucens) produced from the fermentation of liquid cattle waste and palm kernel meal. This study used a RAL with 3 treatments and 4 replications. Treatment 1 (A0B0) is a mixture of waste oil and water wells cake; Treatment 2 (A0B1) is a mixture of waste oil and wastewater cake cow; Treatment 3 (A0B2) is a mixture of waste oil and wastewater cake chicken. Parameters measured were maggot harvest time. Maggot harvest time for 28 days. Average weight of each maggot produced in each treatment was 374.27 g; 642.53 g; and 477.97 g. Weights maggot is highest in treatment A0B1 and lowest weights are in treatment A0B0. Protein content was highest in treatment A0B1 is equal to 47.51%, while in treatment A0B0 and A0B2, respectively, 44.68% and 46.89%. There was no significant difference in each treatment.
