Abstract

The research used experimental laboratories which used infection treatment. The research was done in 3 steps : preparation, preliminary study, and the main research. Preliminary study means that to restore the virulence of bacterial isolates will be used and got first data which base on the main research. The main research was intended to see clinical symptoms and fish histopathology was infected Pseudomonas anguillisptica. The variables was observed in the research are clinical symptoms and damage kidney organ which infected Pseudomonas anguillisptica. The research result showed that Pseudomonas anguillisptica could infect catfish (Clarias gariepinus). The clinical symptoms are loss of appetite, weak swimming movements, lesions at the injection area, pale in body color, hemorrhagic at the bottom of the operculum and base of tail and also destroy in the fins. Histopathological changes in kidney tissue a hemorrhagic (founded erythrocytes outside blood vessel), tubular cell necrosis (death of tubular cells), inflammatory cell infiltration (inflammation of the kidneys), and congestion (retention of erythrocytes in blood vessels). Kidney tissue was attacked Pseudomonas anguillisptica from third day until seventh day, which founded production activity of inflammatory cells found on a large scale indicates that the bacteria had been lodged
