Pengembangan Self-assessment pada Latihan Keterampilan Klinik dalam Meningkatkan Pencapaian Kompetensi Mawas Diri di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang

Abstract


Permintaan masyarakat akan keselamatan pasien, dan peningkatan kualitas pelayanan
kesehatan menuntut akuntabilitas sosial dan Kompetensi seorang dokter berupa profesionalisme
kedokteran. Strategi yang dapat menjaga dan meningkatkan kompetensi seorang dokter dapat
dilakukan melalui continuing professional development (CPD). CPD adalah proses belajar
sepanjang tugas profesionalnya, diperlukan karakteristik seorang lifelong learner, yang mampu
terus belajar sepanjang hayat. Karakter ini hanya dapat dimiliki oleh seorang pembelajar dewasa.
Kebutuhan pembelajaran akan dapat diidentifikasi, jika seorang dokter melakukan proses
refleksi, self assessment dan self evaluation terhadap pengalaman tugas profesionalnya. Fakultas
Kedokteran Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang menerapkan proses pembelajaran dengan
mengembangkan proses refleksi, self assessment dan self evaluation terutama pada Latihan
Keterampilan Klinik dan terus dioptimalisasi. Dukungan institusi dan sivitas akademika sangat
menentukan keberhasilan strategi ini.
