BEBERAPA ASPEK BIOLOGI IKAN TEBARAN DI WADUK WIDAS JAWA TIMUR
Abstract
ABSTRAK
Waduk Widas dengan luas 570 ha merupakan salah satu waduk di Jawa Timur yang mempunyai arti penting bagi perikanan. Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis beberapa aspek biologi ikan tebaran di Waduk Widas Jawa Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey dengan mengumpulan data ikan hasil tangkapan nelayan di Waduk Widas. Ikan sampel dihitung dan diukur panjang beratnya kemudian diperiksa isi lambungnya untuk mengetahui komposisi dan jenis makanannya. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Februari, April, Juli, September dan Nopember 2016. Ikan tebaran yang menjadi contoh adalah ikan Nila (Oreochromis niloticus) dan ikan Tawes (Barbodes gonionotus). Ikan Nila matang gonad (TKG III dan IV) didapatkan antara bulan Februari hingga Nopember. Diduga ikan nila memijah sepanjang tahun karena ditemukan TKG III pada setiap pengamatan. Indeks kematangan gonad yaitu 1,495% pada ikan dengan panjang total 16,1 cm dan 77 gram. Fekuditas mencapai 1.740 butir, dengan rata-rata diameter telur 1,9125 mm. Rasio kelamin berkisar antara 0,61–1,14 dan rata-rata 0,76.Ikan-ikan tebaran di Waduk Widas adalah kelompok herbivora (pemakan tumbuhan), pakan tambahan dan yang terikut terutama fitoplankton. Di Waduk Widas ikan Nila mempunyai ISC 0,335-2,77, sex rasio 1:0,5, Ikan Tawes mempunyai ISC: 0,074-2,77. Sex rasionya 1:1,4.
ABSTRACT
Widas Reservoir, with an area of 570 ha, is one of the reservoirs in East Java that has important for fisheries. The study aims to analyze several aspects of the dispersed fish biology in the East Java Widas Reservoir. The research method used was a survey method by collecting data on fish caught by fishermen in the Widas Reservoir. Fish samples were counted and measured by weight and then checked for stomach contents to determine the composition and type of food. The research was carried out in February, April, July, September, and November 2016. The scattered fish that have become examples are the Nila fish (Oreochromis niloticus) and Tawes fish (Barbodes gonionotus). Mature gonad tilapia (gonadal maturity level III and IV) are obtained between February and November. It is suspected that tilapia spawn throughout the year because the level of maturity of the gonad III was discovered at each observation. Gonadal maturity index is 1.495% in fish with a total length of 16.1 cm and 77 grams. Fecundity reaches 1,740 eggs, with an average egg diameter of 1.9125mm. The sex ratio ranges from 0.61 - 1.14 and an average of 0.76. The scattered fish in the Widas Reservoir are a group of herbivores (plant eaters), supplementary feeds, and mainly phytoplankton. In Widas Reservoir, Tilapia has ISC 0.335-2.77, sex ratio is 1: 0.5, Tawes has ISC: 0.074-2.77. Sex ratio 1: 1,4.
