| 4. | Description | Abstract | Kegiatan Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PT. Agro Palindo Sakti yang terletak di Desa Meranti, Kecamatan Suak Tapeh, Kabupaten Banyuasin, Provinsi Sumatera selatan yang dilakukan selama 6 bulan dimulai dari 22 Februari 2020 sampai 28 Agustus 2020. Kelapa sawit merupakan komoditas unggulan Indonesia. Kegiatan panen di PT Agro Palindo Sakti adalah kegiatan memotong tandan dari pohon hingga pengangkutan ke pabrik kelapa sawit, tanaman yang sudah siap untuk dipanen umumnya diatas 3 tahun. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan dan pemahaman dalam pemanenan di perkebunan kelapa sawit. secara khusus untuk mempelajari tahapan kegiatan, teknik, dan rotasi pelaksanaan panen kelapa sawit di PT Agro Palindo Sakti. Teknik pemanenan kelapa sawit berdasarkan ketinggian tanaman cara memotong pelepah yang rapat dengan batang kelapa sawit dan dengan melakukan pengaturan rotasi panen. Pengaturan rotasi panen berdasarkan pada pertimbangan yang tepat yaitu, kerapatan panen, jumlah tenaga pemanen, luas areal yang dipanen. Untuk rotasi panen yang digunakan di PT. Agro Palindo Sakti adalah 9/10 yang bertujuan untuk mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal. This research activity was carried out at PT. Agro Palindo Sakti which is located in Meranti Village, Suak Tapeh District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province which was carried out for 6 months starting from 22 February 2020 to 28 August 2020. Palm oil is Indonesia's leading commodity. Harvesting activities at PT Agro Palindo Sakti include cutting bunches from trees and transporting them to the palm oil mill. Plants that are ready to be harvested are generally over 3 years old. The aim of this research is to improve skills and understanding in harvesting on oil palm plantations. specifically to study the stages of activities, techniques and rotation of oil palm harvest implementation at PT Agro Palindo Sakti. Oil palm harvesting techniques are based on the height of the plant, by cutting the midrib close to the palm trunk and by adjusting the harvest rotation. Harvest rotation arrangements are based on appropriate considerations, namely, harvest density, number of harvesters, and area harvested. For the harvest rotation used at PT. Agro Palindo Sakti is 9/10 which aims to get maximum results. |
