FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI DISIPLIN KERJA KARYAWAN PADA PT. SUKANDA DJAYA PALEMBANG
Abstract
The problem of this study was what factors significantly influenced the discipline at PT. Sukanda Djaya Palembang were. The objective of this study was to find out the factors significantly influenced the employees’ discipline at PT. Sukanda Djaya Palembang. This study used associative research. There were four variables of this study Compensation (), Exemplary Leadership (), Leadership Assertiveness (), Penalties and Sanctions (). The population used in this study was all employees of PT. Sukanda Djaya Palembang with the total 105 people and all of them servedas a sample by using total population sampling. The data used in this study was primary data, in the form of answers of the respondents to the questionnaire that was distributed technique of collecting the data was using questionnaires. Analysis of the data used in this study were qualitative and quantitative analysis by using multiple linear regression analysis technique. The results showed that the variable Compensation (), Exemplary Leadership () did not significantly influence the employees’ Discipline ( Y ) while variable Leadership Assertiveness (), Penalties and Sanctions () significantly influence the employees’ Discipline ( Y ). Representatively, it was indicated by the regression coefficient of each variable. First, the regression coefficient of Compensation () fowards the employees’ Discipline ( Y ) was -0,454. The coefficient of Exemplary Leadership () fowards employees’ Discipline ( Y ) was 0,166. Then the coefficient of Leadership Assertiveness () fowards the employees’ Discipline ( Y ) was 0,289 the last, the coefficient of Penalties and Sanctions () fowards the employees’ Discipline ( Y ) was 0,283.
