Digital Marketing Training For Emping Ubi Umak Msmes In Seri Bandung Village, Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency

Abstract


Cassava (Manihot esculenta) is an alternative food ingredient that has high economic value if processed properly. Seri Bandung Village, which is located in Tanjung Batu District, Ogan Ilir Regency, has abundant natural potential, especially in the agricultural sector with cassava as one of the main products. However, this potential has not been utilized optimally by local communities due to a lack of knowledge and skills in processing cassava into value-added products. To overcome this problem, cassava chips training was carried out as an effort to empower the community. This training aims to improve skills, encourage entrepreneurial spirit, and improve the economic welfare of the people of Seri Bandung Village. Training was provided on packaging techniques and marketing strategies. The results of the training showed a positive impact, by being able to practice making cassava chips independently, as well as the formation of community groups who were ready to run a business processing cassava into chips for sale. This activity contributes to the utilization of local potential and supports village development based on sustainable natural potential.
