PENGAMBILAN KEPUTUSAN CARA PERSALINAN: TINJAUAN LITERATUR

Abstract


Pemilihan cara persalinan Sectio Caesarea (SC) akhir-akhir ini terjadi peningkatan, terutama pada negara yang berpenghasilan tinggi. Persalinan tidak selalu normal, sehingga diperlukan pengambilan keputusan yang tepat. Tujuan tinjauan pustaka untuk mengetahui faktor apasaja yang mempengaruhi serta hambatan yang ditemukan dalam pengambilan keputusan cara persalinan oleh ibu hamil. Metode penelitian menggunakan literature reviewmelalui database Pubmed, Proquest dan EBSCO. Hasil ditemukan 14 artikel terkait pengambilan keputusan berbagai alasan memilih cara persalinan dengan cara Vagina Delivery (VD) dan SC. Wanita yang memilih VD menyebutkan pemulihan menjadi lebih cepat, sedangkan wanita yang memilih SC beralasan adanya ketakutan akan nyeri persalinan dengan VD. Sumber informasi cara persalinan umumnya didapatkan dari dokter kandungan dan bidan. Adapun orang yang mempengaruhi pengambilan keputusan adalah orang tua, pasangan, teman, dokter dan bidan. Peran tenaga kesehatan seharusnya memberikan konseling berbasis bukti dengan informasi yang tepat sesuai kebutuhan wanita dan selalu melibatkan wanita dalam pengambilan keputusan.
