CAMPURAN TEPUNG KEPALA UDANG PADA PAKAN BUATAN TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN IKAN MASKOKI (Carassius auratus)

Abstract


This study aims to determine the effect of shrimp head flour mixture on artificial feed on fish growth maskoki (Carassius auratus). This research was carried out in Wet Laboratory Faculty of Agriculture Fisheries University of MuhammadiyahPalembang in May to July 2013. The research was conducted by using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 1 control 3 repetitions. As to his treatment is P0 (without artificial feed shrimp head flour mixture), P1 (artificial feed with shrimp head flour mix of 10%, P2 (artificial feed with shrimp head flour mix of 20%), P3 (artificial feed with shrimp head flour mixture 30%), P4 (artificial feed with shrimp head flour mixture of 40%). Results of this study showed that weight and length growth and the highest survival in treatment P2 each the size that is 4.38 grams, 4.73 cm and 100%, whereas for the best feeding PI in treatment that is as large as 0.77 gr . Then the results of the highest color scale is also found in treatment P2. P2 behavior caused by high nutrient content in the feed more optimal and more nutritional content can be absorbed by the fish in the process of growth and survival as well as the brightness of the color of the fish.
