PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN AIR KELAPA DENGAN DOSIS YANG BERBEDA TERHADAP PENGALIHAN JANTANISASI IKAN NILA (Oreochromis niloticus)

Abstract

The reaserch was for knowing the influence of coconut water to sex reversal of nile tilapia to generalize
becoming males and for knowing the exact doses to generalize the gender of the nile tilapia be males. the research
had been done in basah laboratory of aquaculture of muhammadiyah university of palembang. the research had
been taken on may until june 2015. the method of the research was Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) with 4
treatments and 4 repetitions with p1 = 20% coconut waters / 1 : p2 = 30% coconut waters / 1 : p3=40% coconut
waters / 1 and p4=50% coconut waters / 1 in 10 hours treatment. the change which was observed was survival of
larva (Larva rate(LR) and gender.According to the research p3 treatment in 10 hours with 30% doses of coconut
waters got the best result. coconut waters has complete vitamins especially potassium with 312mg/100g .
