Survival and Growth of Fry Climbing perch (Anabas testudineus) Which Maintained In The Net With Different Density
Abstract
This research aim to know the influence of density by survival and growth of climbing perch (Anabas
testudineus) which is maintained in the net. The size of net were 50 cm x 50 cm x 150 cm. This research was
conducted in Business Unit of breeding (SPU) Mulia Plaju, south Sumatera Started On April To June 2015. This
research was done using a Complete Randomized Desigh (CRD) with 3 treathments 3 replication, The treathments
were of P1 = 20 fish/net, P2 = 30 fish/net and P3 = 40 fish/net. The result showed the best growth of density was
on high density (40 fish/net) with length 0,97 cm and weigth 2,0 grams and good survival rate at 92,50% compove
on low density (30 fish/net) only 77,78% of survival rate percentage.
