ORIENTASI PROFESIONAL DAN KUALITAS PENGAJARAN SEBAGAI MEDIATOR HUBUNGAN ANTARA PARTISIPASI DOSEN DALAM PEMBUATAN KEPUTUSAN DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR MAHASISWA
Abstract
The primary purpose of this study is to test the relationship beetween lecturers participation in decision making and student academic performance, with professional orientation and pedagogical quality as mediating variables. On the basis data of 195 lecturers of private higher educational institutions in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta, the empirical test shows that there are positif relationship beetween the lecturers participation in decision making and student academic performance. The result of this research can’t support that professional orientation and pedagogical quality as mediating variables in the relationship between lecturers participation in decision making and student academic performance.Result of test for factors affecting variables of professional orientation, pedagogical quality and student academic performance shows that: (1 professional orientation is affected by lecturers participation in decision making, (2) pedagogical quality is affected by professional orientation but isn’t affected by lecturers participation in decision making, (3) student academic performance is affected by lecturers participation in decision making, but isn’t affected by professional orientation and pedagogical quality.
