Author Guidelines

The paper sent to our redaction will be considered for publication if meeting the following criteria:

  1. It is scientific and focused on the reviews of related problems in contemporary Islamic education. Besides, it must be original and based on the research and contributive literature review for the development of Islamic education.
  2. It must concern with Islamic education
  3. It has not been published in the other journals or other media.
  4. It is well written either in Indonesian language or in the other languages (Arabic/ English)
  5. It consists of title, author’s name, institution, email address, abstract, key words, content and references.
  6. The title must be clear, precise and no more than 14 words.
  7. The author does not need to include the academic title.
  8. The abstract is written in Indonesian language and English from 200-300 words.
  9. The key words consist of no more than 5 words.
  10. The content consists of 17-20 pages for article and of 20-25 for book review in A4 paper with 1, 5 spaces.
  11. It must be written consistently by using foot note with body or inclusive note. For example: (Jalaluddin, 2002: 191)
  12. It has page number respectively including figures and references.
  13. The primary sources of references must be at least from the last 5 years.
  14. It includes references by the following format below: Djamarah, Saiful Bahri. 2002. Guru dan Anak Didik dalam Interaksi Edukatif. Jakarta:RinekaCipta.
  15. The transliterated paper must be based on the transliterating rules.
  16. It must be typed in Microsoft Word with RTF (Rich Text Format) or Doc. (Word Document) and sent to the redaction via email by using file attachment.
  17. The paper will be reviewed and edited without changing any substantial content.
  18. The rejected paper will be notified to the author via email.
  19. The author of the published paper will be provided with two copies of the publication proof.

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The paper should have not been published or considered for publication in the other journals or other media.
  2. The format of the file is OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect
    1. URLs for references should be provided.
 

Copyright Notice

The requirements that must be met by the author are as follows:

  1. The author saves the copyright and gives the journal simultaneously with the license  under Creative Commons Attribution License which permits other people to share the work by stating that it is firstly published in this journal.
  2. The author can post their work in an institutional repository or publish it in a book by by stating that it is firstly published in this journal.
  3. The author is allowed to post their work online (for instance, in an institutional repository or their own website) before and during the process of delivery. (see Open Access Effect).

 

Privacy Statement

Name and email address inserted in the journal website will only be used for the purposeful matters. They are not going to be used for the other purposes or other parties
