SEPSIS YANG DISEBABKAN KUMAN MRSA PADA PASIEN POST COVID-19
Abstract
Sepsis adalah adanya respon sistemik terhadap infeksi di dalam tubuh yang dapat berkembang menjadi sepsis berat dan syok septik. Sepsis dapat disebabkan berbagai jenis kuman, salah satunya yang menjadi masalah kesehatan global utama adalah kuman Staphylococcus aureus resisten obat atau Multidrug Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA). Laporan kasus ini membahas tentang seorang pasien yang telah sembuh dari COVID-19 (post COVID-19) kemudian mengalami sepsis yang disebabkan MRSA berdasarkan hasil pemeriksaan kultur darah. Pasien telah diberikan tatalaksana sesuai protokol sepsis serta terapi antibiotik berdasarkan hasil kultur dan pola sensitivitas kuman yaitu vankomisin dan amikacin. Kondisi pasien makin memburuk dengan mengalami syok sepsis dan akhirnya meninggal dunia setelah 22 hari dirawat di RS dr. M. Djamil Padang.
