TINJAUAN TERKINI COVID-19 PADA MATA DAN KULIT
Abstract
Pandemi COVID-19 telah mengakibatkan banyak morbiditas dan mortalitas di seluruh dunia. Virus SARS-CoV2 terutama menular lewat droplet pernafasan, dan masuk ke tubuh menusia berikatan dengan reseptor Angiotensin-converting enzyme II (ACE2) melaui protein spike. Beberapa studi menemukan bahwa COVID-19 mungkin juga dapat menular melalui organ mata dan kulit, karena reseptor ACE2 yang juga terdapat di dalamnya. COVID-19 memiliki manifestasi yang bervariasi pada mata dan kulit, baik sebagai gejala awal penyakit atau gejala yang muncul selama rawat inap. Alat pelindung diri (APD) dan vaksinasi telah banyak digunakan dengan tujuan menghentikan penyebaran infeksi virus, dan sejumlah efek samping pada mata dan kulit telah dilaporkan dalam literatur. Tinjauan pustaka ini bertujuan memberikan telaah terkini dari manifestasi klinis serta komplikasi pencegahan dan vaksinasi COVID-19 pada mata dan kulit.
